Bronica cameras first appeared in 1958. Bronica SLR cameras employ a modular design: the major components of the camera — lens, body, film back, and viewfinder — are separate and interchangeable. As the company expanded, Bronica would later introduce lenses of its own design, along with continued refinements and new models of the Bronica SLR, in different rollfilm formats.
The ETR was released in 1976 and is Bronica's first leaf shutter based camera system.
The ETRS is an improved version of the ETR. The main improvement is the interchangeable viewfinder system.
The Bronica ETRSi is based on the second revision of the ETRS. It has a number of new and improved features like a TTL Flash metering system.
The Bronica SQ series is a line of 6x6 medium format SLR camera system introduced in 1980. Production of the last Bronica SQ-Ai model (including lenses and accessories) finished at the end of September 2003
The SQ-Ai was a slightly updated SQ-A and has the ability to use a motor drive.
Introduced in March 1983[1], the Bronica GS-1 in 6×7 cm format was the largest SLR produced by the company and the first medium format camera with TTL flash metering.
In addition, at the end of the 1990s, the RF 645, a roll film viewfinder camera for the 6x4.5 format with its own interchangeable lenses, was released.
